Cornelius Pickleball Programs

Lake Norman Pickleball Association is excited to partner with Cornelius Parks and Recreation to provide educational clinics. We will be offering clinics in multi-week series that will build on different skills each week. We will also be offering one-day clinics targeted to one specific skill. Clinics will be based on skill level. Signing up for the correct skill level helps both you and the instructional group get the most from the lesson. Please see the current clinic offerings below.

LKNPA does not want financial hardship to be a barrier to participation. We offer a scholarship program for those that meet qualifying criteria. If you feel you may qualify, email Dave Mancuso (dave.lknpickleball@gmail.com) for more information.

LKNPA members need to login prior to registering to receive member discount. If you are not a member, but would like to join to receive clinic discounts and other benefits, please click the Join tab above for more information.

Take a break from your busy day and join us for mid-day clinic that is sure to elevate your game. These noon clinics will be limited to a small group of 4 - 8 players for an hour of focused skill-building.

This clinic will focus on what most people consider the most important shot in pickleball and that is the 3rd shot.  Executed by the serving team, this shot really sets the toe for how a point will be played out.  This clinic will focus on whether you should drive or drop your third shot and how to execute each shot.

There's a time to drive and a time to drop.  Register for this clinic to prepare yourself for this important shot.

This clinic will focus on standing your ground at the kitchen line using block and reset techniques to counter hard hitting players.  This clinic will teach you how to use these shots to bring "bangers" to the kitchen line and win more points by slowing down the game and using dink rallies to frustrate your opponent.  This is a must-have clinic for players who want to neutralize players who mostly drive the ball.
