Let’s kickoff the rest of the holiday season! Come join us for some open play pickleball dressed in either your favorite ugly holiday sweater or get creative and decorate yourself up for the holidays!  Prizes awarded for most decorated or ugliest sweater!  

Event: Ugly Sweater Pickleball and Gift Drive

Date:  Dec. 9, 2023

Time: 
  • 11am-12pm
  • 12pm-1pm
  • 1pm-2pm

Given the size of our organization, we have set up three 1-hour open play time slots.  Please register for only one time.    

Food: Pizza and cookies will be provided.  

Gift Drive:  In the spirit of continuing to give to those less fortunate than ourselves during such an important time of year, we are collecting donations for two local charities:
  • Hope House Foundation - https://hopehousefoundation.org/  Wish List includes:
    • Gift Cards to Amazon, Target, Walmart and Harris Teeter.  
    • After school snacks like Goldfish crackers and applesauce.
    • Cleaning supplies, twin or full mattress pads, blankets, etc.
  • FeedNC – www.feednc.org  Wish list includes:
    • Blocks, books and puzzles
    • Barbies and dolls
    • Toy trucks, cars and Hot Wheels
    • Crayons, coloring books and markers
    • Silly putty, paint, play-doh & crafts
    • Bikes, scooters and roller blades
    • Balls: Soccer, footballs, basketball, etc.
    • Legos, connecting blocks & board games
    • Teens: hairbrushes, clips and hair tools
    • Teens: T-shirts, throw blankets, etc.


If you are unable to attend our event but still would like to make a contribution to our gift drive, we will have a collection box at each open play event (Torrence Chapel and Robbins Park) from Nov. 27th – Dec. 8th.  If that is not convenient and would still like to contribute, please contact one of the Board members listed below:
